2 of 4 users fail to access vsts using add-in for excel or word

We are facing issues with 2 users when using the smart4tfs add-ins for word, excel, visio and outlook. They can work directly on the vsts project with the smartrequirements setup, but they fail when trying to connect to the VSTS server using the Excel and Word add-ins.

Today we had a session with the VSTS manager and checked al security settings. They were the same for all 4 team members. 2 of the 4 however cannot connect using the add-ins, while the 2 others can.
