Hi ,
It seems that either you don't have the VSTS Basic Level Rights or you don't have the TFS Contributor rights on your team project OR your GIT based team project default repository which also has the same name like your team project either get renamed or does not exist and therefore you are unable to proceed wiht Smart Docs or Diagrams and getting the 'you do not have sufficient permission error... .".
First please check is your user has the VSTS Basic Level Rights and is your user in the TFS Contributor Group and if yes then check the Repository Name of your GIT based team project, does your team project repository name is same as your team project and if not then please first create a new repo in your team project from its Manage Repository window and then access the Home Page of your Dev Ops Service(VSTS) Account or Dev Ops Server(TFS) and from there access the Settings page or Organizaton Settings and under the Extension click on the Modern Requirements4TFS link and then access the General Tab and there please provide\add your newly created repository here for your team project that MR4TFS shall use.
Please see the following images in this regard.
First create a repository for your team project.
After creating the repository access the home page and from there access the Settings page.
Now from the Setting page access the Modern Requirements4TFS page.
Then Access the the General Tab.
Click the +Add option.
Select the desired GIT project from the list.
Enter a suitable repository name and click OK.
Click Save Changes.
The new repository name becomes visible in the list.
Now you just need to Signout from the VSTS or TFS Web Access and close all instances of your browser and then login again.
This time you shall be able to proceed and shall not get the message 'you do not have sufficient permission to connect to this project... . .".
But after doign whtat has been suggested above if you still get this same error message then do let me know support@modernrequirements.com or umair@modernrequirements.com so that we shall investigate and resolve your issue.
Thanks,
Umair Abbasi,
